Ken worked as a fishmonger at Tesco Helsby for over 11 years. Sadly, Ken’s shop was one of the fish counters that Tesco decided to closein 2019. Ken started at Tesco with no experience on a casual basis before he moved onto a full-time position. He competed for the first time at the British Fish Craft Championships last year and took part in the first Master Fishmonger Standard course at the Seafood School. He now has his own Facebook page dedicated to fish: Cod4me Cod4u
